How to Book Your Repeat Prescriptions
Along with your prescription you will receive a tear-off slip which lists all the items you have been prescribed. Tick the items you require on the slip. You can then:
- Mail your prescription to the Surgery (please enclose a stamped addressed envelope if you would like the prescription mailed back to you)
- You can come to the Surgery and hand the slip in to our Reception
- You can also order your repeat prescriptions online, see below...
You should request your repeat prescription at least 2 working days (48hours) in advance. Please avoid requesting this by telephone as it holds up emergency calls coming in.
You can now order your repeat prescriptions online.

Electronic Prescription Service (EPS)
This GP offers the Electronic Prescription Service, which allows you to choose or “nominate” a pharmacy to get your medicines or appliances from. Your GP then sends your prescription electronically to the place you nominated.
This means:
- If you collect your repeat prescriptions from your GP you will not have to visit your GP practice to pick up your paper prescription, saving time.
- You will have more choice about where to get your medicines from because they can be collected from a pharmacy near to where you live, work or shop.
- You may not have to wait as long as your repeat prescriptions could be prepared before you arrive.
